What is a sand washer & Imen Sang Shekan expertise

The sand washer by Imen Sang Shekan removes clay, dust and loose particles from crusher output sand. Water plus rotational motion strips impurities off the grain surfaces and delivers concrete-grade sand.

Two models are built: the spiral type for precise sizing and fine-particle separation, and the bucket-wheel type for high volume at lower water consumption. Our engineers recommend the model based on clay content and line capacity.

The body is made from wear-resistant plate and bearings sit in sealed housings so water and dust cannot get in. The dewatering screen keeps output moisture below 10%.

Clay left on the sand means weaker concrete; the Imen Sang Shekan sand washer removes that contamination at the source.

AquaLoop™ technology — more washing with less water

In water-scarce regions, water consumption drives the economics of the plant. AquaLoop™ combines three elements:

  • Staged settling: mud and silt are separated in two stages so returning water is clean enough to reuse.
  • Adjustable pump and nozzles: pressure and flow are matched to clay content — no waste, no under-washing.
  • DryOut™ dewatering: a vibrating dewatering screen at the end of the line removes excess water before stockpiling.
  • Pond level monitoring: a level sensor shuts the pump down when water runs low, preventing burnout.
