What is a rock-on-rock crusher & Imen Sang Shekan expertise

The rock-on-rock crusher by Imen Sang Shekan accelerates feed material into a stream of aggregate inside the chamber, so rock is crushed against rock instead of against wear metal. The result is a cubical particle with a minimal share of flaky and elongated grains.

Wear parts are made of tungsten carbide and last 3–5 times longer than manganese steel. Because metal does not strike rock directly, noise and dust are noticeably lower.

Before fabrication our engineers measure rock hardness and abrasiveness, moisture and the target gradation, then design rotor speed, chamber geometry and liner thickness accordingly.

An Imen Sang Shekan rock-on-rock crusher means aggregate compliant with national standard 302 and AASHTO, at the lowest wear-part cost.

Why the Imen Sang Shekan rock-on-rock crusher?

  • Rock-on-rock crushing: the material bed acts as the anvil, so metal wear and consumable costs drop sharply.
  • Tungsten carbide parts: hammer and liner life 3–5 times that of manganese steel, with exact part numbers kept in stock.
  • VFD speed control: tune particle shape and fineness by changing rotor speed — no line stop, no part change.
  • Dynamically balanced rotor: precise balancing reduces vibration and bearing load, extending bearing life.
  • Fast service access: a hydraulic chamber lid makes inspection and liner replacement quick.
  • Less noise and dust: no direct metal-on-rock impact means a healthier work environment.

Applications & suitable projects

  • Manufactured sand: crushed sand with adjustable fineness modulus for concrete
  • Asphalt plants: cubical aggregate with strong bitumen adhesion and better surface durability
  • Ready-mix concrete: lower void ratio and higher compressive strength
  • Secondary crushing lines: reducing jaw-crusher output to final gradation
  • Construction waste recycling: crushing concrete and brick into sub-base material

If your line struggles with flaky and elongated particles, this is the machine that fixes particle shape. Send us your rock sample and we will propose the right configuration.

Exclusive RockCore™ technology — full control over particle shape

Imen Sang Shekan does not just build a machine; we engineer a particle-shaping system. Our difference is the exclusive RockCore™ technology:

  • ThickBed™ rock-bed chamber: chamber geometry keeps a permanent material layer on the wall so rock hits rock, not steel.
  • SmartRotor™: carbide-lined throw channels that can be replaced individually without changing the whole rotor.
  • ShapeSet™ shape control: the rotor-speed curve is set from the target gradation — the same machine delivers fine sand or 0–25 mm aggregate.
  • AutoBalance™ vibration monitoring: bearing-mounted sensors warn about rotor imbalance before it turns into a failure.

Result: where ordinary impact crushers replace hammers every few weeks, the Imen Sang Shekan rock-on-rock crusher with RockCore™ consumes up to 40% fewer parts and keeps flakiness below 5%.
