Asphalt Plant

Stationary and mobile plants, typical capacity 60 to 240 t/h — designed for your climate, bitumen grade and project volume.

An asphalt plant is the heart of road-paving projects. It must keep accurate weighing of filler, bitumen and hot aggregate together and deliver uniform, high-quality asphalt. At Imen Sang Shekan every plant is designed and built to match the local climate (cold, hot or humid), the type of bitumen used and the daily production volume of your project.

The stationary model is an economical choice for central depots, industrial zones and long-term continuous production. The mobile model, with modular layout and fast relocation, sharply reduces haul costs for asphalt and aggregate when the work front moves and is ideal for scattered road projects.

We select the dryer, filter, mixer and control system to suit the climate and bitumen grade of each project.

Main components of an asphalt plant

Rotary dryer

Rotary dryer with diesel, gas or dual-fuel burner reduces aggregate moisture to below 5% and ensures uniform heating of the material.

Baghouse filter

Polyester or Nomex bags separate fine particles to protect the environment and return filler automatically into the production cycle.

Weighing tower & mixer

Gradation silos, weighing feeders and mixer with ±0.5% accuracy guarantee the quality of every tonne of asphalt produced.

Control system (PLC & HMI)

Touch screen, recipe formulation and storage, production history logging and automatic fault alarms.

Material handling system

Belt conveyors, bucket elevators, silo vibrators and wear-resistant discharge chutes for continuous operation in harsh conditions.

Hot asphalt storage silos

30–100 tonne insulated hot silos with discharge system to keep asphalt at the right temperature until loading.

Asphalt production stages

1. Loading and primary sizing: Stone aggregate is fed from stockpiles into feeders and, if needed, the required grading is prepared.

2. Drying and heating: Aggregate enters the rotary dryer; the burner flame removes moisture and heats the material to about 160 °C.

3. Screening and weighing: Hot aggregate is graded on vibrating screens and each size fraction is weighed separately.

4. Mixing with bitumen and filler: Weighed aggregate, mineral filler and hot bitumen enter the mixer and are blended into a homogeneous mix.

5. Storage and loading: Finished asphalt is transferred to the hot silo and loaded into truck mixers at the correct temperature.

Types of asphalt plant

Batch plant: Production in separate batches with high weighing accuracy; suitable for sensitive projects with varied recipes.

Continuous / drum-mix plant: Uninterrupted production at higher capacity; ideal for large road projects with a fixed recipe.

Mobile plant: All modules are mounted on mobile chassis and can be relocated and commissioned within a few days.

Stationary plant: Installed at a fixed site and remains in service for years with minimal maintenance cost.
